ABS or Antilock Brake System is a system in your vehicle that pulses the brakes for you, much faster then a human could, when the vehicle senses one of the wheels slipping. This feature keeps you from skidding and also helps with traction when driving through puddles, on uneven pavement, or during hard braking. When the ABS light illuminates in a vehicle, it is an indication that something is wrong within the ABS system. This is a safety issue. I suggest that you have the vehicle looked at as soon as possible so that it can be properly diagnosed and repaired.
